What is a slow face lift?

Our slow face lift treatment is proving popular amongst our clients for its ability to deliver a more youthful complexion without looking fake or as though you’ve had work done.

A unique combination of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Collagen Boost PDO threads, a slow face lift is a form of combination therapy that works to gradually rejuvenate your skin for a naturally youthful complexion.

How it works

The treatment works to replace lost collagen, correcting shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds. PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma involves drawing some of your blood and separating out the plasma component which is then injected or needled back into your skin. This delivers an abundance of growth factors that stimulate the body’s natural healing response, helping you to achieve total rejuvenation. Collagen Boost meanwhile, involve injecting absorbable PDO smooth threads into your skin to stimulate collagen production.

What results it delivers

The slow face lift delivers gradual but long-lasting results. A full treatment of three injection sessions over a few months, can last up to two years.

What downtime is involved

One of the best parts about this treatment (outside of the long-lasting results) is that there’s only a few days of downtime. Rather than a surgical face lift that requires a lengthy weeks’ long recovery, it only requires one to two days.

Is it painful?

There is a little bit of discomfort with our slow face lift treatment, mainly with the Collagen Boost. However we always apply numbing cream 45 minutes prior to treatment to minimise discomfort and have a range of pain management options such as happy gas available if you need them.
