FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are Artisan open in LGAs that are currently locked down?

No, we are not an essential service. If you had an appointment scheduled during a lockdown period it has been cancelled or moved, we will be in touch with you to reschedule as soon as we are able to do so.

Can I secure a future booking now? 

Some of our clinics have online booking availability, however if you would like to join our waitlist, we can contact you to book your appointment upon reopening.

Can I repurchase skincare product online?

Of course, we know how important maintaining an at home routine is! Email us with your order and a member of our team will be in contact to confirm your order details and process payment over the phone.

Should I let the clinic know if I am unsure about people I have been in contact with?

Yes, please let us know if you’re unsure. Our clinical team can help you.

Is it absolutely safe to have cosmetic medical procedures at this time?

We’re making sure that we stay in line with government regulations and focusing on making it as safe as possible. Your visit to us will be comparable to going to your hairdresser, dentist and other similar places where social distancing disciplines are observed.

Will cosmetic injections make me more susceptible to COVID-19?

There is no evidence that cosmetic procedures make patients, who are otherwise well, more susceptible to disease processes, including COVID-19.

If I develop side effects from my cosmetic medical procedure, how do I know if they are related to COVID-19?

Side effects from cosmetic medical procedures are different to the effects of COVID-19, which are primarily shortness of breath, persistent cough, and fever.

Will I be able to contact someone at the clinic after my procedure if I have any questions?

Of course – we’re always here to help, including our clinical after-hours team.

 

KEEPING EACH OTHER SAFE AND WELL

WHAT WE’RE DOING
  • Checking our temperature each day. We want to be hot, but not too hot.
  • Washing / sanitising our hands – on arrival, before and after treatments, and whenever we feel the need. We’ll have the cleanest hands in town!
  • Disinfecting surfaces between clients and treatments. Our surfaces will shine!
  • Wearing safety equipment during treatments, such as gloves, masks and eyewear (dependent on the treatment). It’s our new look!
  • Limiting the number of people in clinic, and staying 1.5 metres apart unless we’re treating you. Sometimes three is a crowd!
  • We’ll look after you out of hours, by following all government regulations. We’re all in this together!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
  • As per government guidelines please wear a mask if required.
  • If you’re unwell or have been exposed to COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment.
  • Where possible, access pre-appointment information online before you come into clinic.
  • When you arrive in clinic, we’ll ask you: – Are you experiencing any respiratory symptoms, such as a cough or sore throat? – Have you travelled overseas or interstate in the past 14 days? – Have you been in contact with any suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19?
  • Arrive at your appointment time, and we’ll take you straight through to the treatment room once you’ve checked in.
  • Let us have some one-on-one time, by coming to your appointment alone (which means leaving your loved ones at home).
  • Wash or sanitise your hands upon arrival.
  • Allow us to check your temperature.
  • Let us know if you become unwell after visiting the clinic; and as always, let us know if you have any adverse affects from your treatment.
