Dermal filler and anti-wrinkle injections are often identified as the same product. While both can help treat fine lines and wrinkles, they are actually very different treatments. Dermal filler contains hyaluronic acid and is designed to plump the skin, aiding areas with volume loss by adding fullness to the area. In contrast, anti-wrinkle injections contain a muscle relaxant called botulism toxin type A. This product smooths out the skin by being injected into the muscles to temporarily restrict their movement.
