Tattoo Removal

Picosure technology rapidly delivers thermal energy to shatter all tattoo ink into small particles, which are then absorbed and naturally removed by the body over time. This process happens so fast that your skin doesn’t have the chance to react to the heat, making it safer, more comfortable and more effective treatment than with traditional lasers.

Considerable fading is noticeable after one session. There are several factors that can influence the rate at which your tattoo clears, such as location, size and depth, types of ink, skin type and colour. Most tattoos will require 6-10 sessions to disappear.

• • The skin will need to be free of any makeup, fake tan, oils, lotions etc. If possible, avoid using these on the day of your treatment.Make a note of any medications and mention these to our medical practitioners on the day of your consultation.Please do your best to avoid sun exposure in the weeks leading up to your treatment. If you work outside, follow sun safe tips including:- Use high rated SPF creams

    – Wear suitable long-length clothing to block UV

    – Seek shade where possible

  • In the 7 days prior to treatment, please avoid active sun exposure, fake tan and tanning products

   

In most cases, greater than 95% clearing will be achieved. Where the client is committed to final treatments, 100% clearing can be achieved. The rate at which your tattoo clears will vary case by case and depends on your body’s ability to remove the ink particles after the laser has initiated the process.

Coco by Artisan uses a Zimmer Epidermal Cooler to relieve the laser sensation by cooling/numbing the treatment area. Topical cream and injections are also available for pain relief if needed at the clinician’s discretion.
