The Paris Lift involves inserting absorbable mechanical threads via a cannula into the deep layer of skin. The thread is made of polydioxanone (PDO) which is a biodegradable polymer that is slowly absorbed by your body over time.

The threads naturally stimulate your body to regenerate fibroblasts which create collagen and stimulate your own elastin and hyaluronic acid. The Paris Lift provides a long-lasting*, more lifted and youthful appearance.

The Paris Lift treats your face, jawline and neck.

Results are visible immediately and last for up to 12 months as the threads naturally dissolve and are broken down by your body. Annual treatments are recommended for optimum results.

Avoid blood-thinning medication (e.g. aspirin ibuprofen, fish oil, and St John’s wort) one week prior
Advise us if you are allergic to anesthetic

Prior to your first treatment, our doctor will consult with you to assess your suitability for thread lifts and discuss any concerns or questions you may have.

The procedure involves the threads being inserted under selected areas of the skin using a canula and needle. Local anesthetic will be applied prior to treatment to minimise discomfort.

Anyone who:

Is pregnant or breastfeeding
Has a severe auto-immune disease
Has received vaccination for COVID-19 within the last 2 weeks or have a vaccination planned within the next 2 weeks
Has severe allergies manifested by a history of anaphylaxis, or history or presence of multiple severe allergies
Currently has an active skin infection, cold sores, sunburn, eczema, psoriasis or a healing wound
Has acute or chronic cutaneous disease in the treatment area
Has active sepsis or infection, including chronic systemic infection
Currently has concurrent febrile status (e.g. flu, cold, sinusitis, UTI)
Has a bleeding disorder
Is currently taking Warfarin
Has permanent or other bioactive fillers in the area to be treated
Is allergic or hypersensitive to polydioxanone, lidocaine, lignocaine, adrenaline or chlorhexidine.
Has had major dental work in the past four weeks, or scheduled in the next four weeks (including wisdom teeth removal, root canal or any procedure related to the soft tissue (gum disease), veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures, and the fitting of braces)
Has had minor dental work within the last two weeks or scheduled in the next two weeks (including scale and clean, routine tooth extraction, fillings, and tooth whitening)
Has been given antibiotics post dental intervention (a period of two weeks is required before threads can be given)
Has any planned surgical procedure 4 weeks pre or post appointment

If you are unsure, contact your clinic

Bruising, swelling, redness, pain, itching, discoloration or tenderness at the treatment area, which is usually resolved within seven days
Puckering and/or irregularity of the skin, which is usually resolved within several days
Headache

Apply cold packs that are wrapped to avoid direct contact with the skin and injection site
Take analgesia such as paracetamol as required
Refrain from make up for 24hrs
Refrain from exercise and sun exposure for two to three days
Refrain from lying face down for three to five days
Refrain from high impact sports for two weeks
Avoid dental work, saunas and massages for four weeks

To ensure that you are happy and that optimal results are achieved, it is recommended that you attend a review appointment and assessment after two weeks.
