Anyone who:
- Is pregnant or breastfeeding
- Has epilepsy
- Has systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) – increased light sensitivity
- Has a history of dermal light sensitivity/rash
- Is currently taking or has taken Roaccutane in the past six months
- Has skin cancers or suspicious lesions in the treatment area
- Has an active skin infection in the treatment area, including acne, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, and active herpes simplex
- Is undergoing treatment with a photosensitising agent
- Is using topicals that may cause irritation within last two weeks e.g. peels, retinol, Efudex, corticosteroids
- Has permanent dermal filler
- Has had excessive sun exposure in the past two weeks
- Has applied fake tan in the past two weeks
