Skin Needling

Skin needling is a minimally invasive treatment that supports overall skin health. It may be used on the face, neck, and décolletage to assist with skin texture, hydration and the appearance of pores and minor scarring.

This treatment can be suitable for skin showing early signs of ageing or for those seeking to refresh the complexion.

Pricing: Starts from $295 for one area (face, neck, or décolletage).

HOW IT WORKS

Skin needling uses fine micro-needles to create controlled, superficial punctures in the skin. This process is designed to support the skin’s natural renewal processes, including areas where collagen and elastin are naturally present.

Skin needling is used to treat the face, neck and décolletage.

RESULTS

Some effects may be noticed following treatment. The frequency and timing of sessions can vary depending on individual skin type and needs and ongoing treatments may be part of a personalised skin care plan.

  • Avoid tanning and prolonged sun exposure for two weeks prior
  • Cease blood thinners, anti-inflammatory medications, omega-oils, multivitamins, vitamin B, vitamin E and glucosamine for one week prior to minimise the risk of bruising

WHAT TO EXPECT

Prior to your first treatment, your clinician will consult with you to assess your suitability for skin needling and discuss any concerns or questions you may.

The treatment involves our clinician making small punctures to the outermost layers of your skin with pin-point needles.  An anaesthetic agent will be applied to minimise discomfort throughout the treatment.
