Skin Needling

Skin needling is a non-invasive treatment that restores and rejuvenates the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin formation to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, tighten and improve elasticity, shrink enlarged pores, minimise scarring, and assists with the management of pigmentation and ageing skin.

Used to treat the face, neck and décolletage, this treatment is ideal for skin that is just beginning to show the signs of ageing or is dull and lacking radiance.

Starts from $295 for one area, for example the face, neck or décolletage.

HOW IT WORKS

Skin needling penetrates the top layer of skin with micro-needles that create pin-point injuries in the deeper layers. This then triggers the body’s natural wound healing response, stimulating new collagen and elastin formation.

Skin needling is used to treat the face, neck and décolletage.

RESULTS

Results are visible after six weeks and last for up to one to three months. Regular treatments will help to maintain the best results.

TREATMENT PREPARATION
  • Prime your skin two weeks prior with vitamin A, vitamin C and other growth factor serums
  • Avoid tanning and prolonged sun exposure for two weeks prior
  • Cease blood thinners, anti-inflammatory medications, omega-oils, multivitamins, vitamin B, vitamin E and glucosamine for one week prior to minimise the risk of bruising
  • Men are to be clean shaven prior to treatment

Advise your clinician if you:

WHAT TO EXPECT

Prior to your first treatment, your clinician will consult with you to assess your suitability for skin needling and discuss any concerns or questions you may.

The treatment involves our clinician making small punctures to the outermost layers of your skin with pin-point needles.  An anaesthetic agent will be applied to minimise discomfort throughout the treatment.
