TEXTURE & TONE
Skin texture and tone can vary due to a range of factors, from dry or flaking skin to pigmentation, scarring and congestion.
COMMON CONCERNS
- Congestion and breakouts
- Pigmentation
- Melasma
- Enlarged pores
- Rough or coarse skin
- Scarring
POSSIBLE CAUSES
A common factor in uneven skin texture is the build-up of dead skin cells. The outermost layer of skin is made up of dead cells that form a protective barrier. When this layer accumulates, it can create a rough or uneven appearance. This build-up can also contribute to enlarged pores and breakouts, while pigmentation may develop due to sun exposure or hormonal changes. Daily use of a high-SPF sunscreen is recommended to help protect the skin.
