1. Fraxel Dual Laser

What: Fraxel is a non-ablative fractionated laser that penetrates the top layers of your skin via hundreds of thousands of microscopic columns to stimulate the production of new skin cells and collagen.
Great for: it is an incredibly effective treatment for wrinkles, acne scars, pigmentation, and for creating cleaner, healthier skin.

What happens: our clinician will numb the skin, and then glide the handpiece over the treatment area.
Pain: 4/5 with numbing cream. Clients have described the treatment as a hot, prickling sensation that is slightly uncomfortable but tolerable. While acknowledging its substantial nature, we assure you that we provide a spectrum of measures to enhance your comfort, including the application of potent numbing cream.
Results: the results are both immediate and progressive. Soon after the treatment, which will involve heat, redness and swelling in the immediate days after. Similar to sunburn, your skin will flake and exfoliate normally, revealing fresher, glowing and smoother looking and feeling skin. The next three to six months will bring more improvement as the deeper layers of the skin continue to create new collagen.

2. Bio-Remodelling Filler
Conditions: skin laxity · crepey skin · fine lines · wrinkles
What: Bio-remodelling filler is a non-volumising cosmetic injection that hydrates and smooths the skin, resulting in improved skin quality and a visible reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
Great for: suitable for anyone who has skin laxity, crepey skin or fine lines and wrinkles.

What happens: the procedure involves the prescribed product being injected just under the skin using very fine needles in pre-determined points. On the face, only five injection points are necessary on each side of the face to give maximum results, so it is a relatively quick treatment.
Pain: 1/5. It is relatively painless and there is usually no need for topical pain relief creams prior to treatment.
Results: this treatment kickstarts the production of elastin, re-modelling the skin tissue and giving it a plumper and tighter look radiating a natural glow within three to four weeks.
Number of treatments: two treatments, one month apart, are recommended. Maintenance sessions can be performed twice a year for optimal results.

What: Thermage FLX is a radio-frequency treatment to thicken skin and stimulate collagen, resulting in a smoother, firmer and a more youthful complexion.

What happens: you’ll feel a brief cooling sensation followed by a deep but brief heating sensation, followed by another cooling sensation. What happens: after cleansing your skin, your clinician will identify the right peel for you skin type and goals. During application you may feel a brief tingling or prickling sensation which subsides very quickly. After removing the peel, your skin will be treated to the healing benefits of LED light therapy. The treatment will be complete with finishing skincare steps to comfort and protect the skin.

Results: a refreshing glow! You may experience some temporary skin redness/pinkness which is usually resolved within an hour. The following day, tightness and possible flaking is normal due to skin cell turnover.

6. Laser Genesis

9. Skin Needling + PRP

What: also known as collagen-induction therapy, skin needling uses a device with thin, sharp needle tips to create punctures on the skin. This then triggers the body’s natural wound healing response, stimulating new collagen and elastin formation.
PRP takes this a step further as a natural, cosmetic injectable treatment that uses your own platelet rich plasma. The plasma component contains stem cells and growth rich platelets that, when injected back into the skin, accelerates your body’s natural production of collagen and elastin to provide overall skin rejuvenation.
Great for: ideal for enlarged pores, acne scars, pigmentation, skin beginning to show the signs of ageing, or anyone concerned by loss of elasticity and volume.

What happens: numbing cream is applied to the treatment area and then a device glided over skin to make small pin-point punctures to the outermost layers of your skin. For PRP, our nurse will draw a small sample of blood. This is then spun in a centrifuge for approximately five minutes to separate the plasma from the other blood particles. The platelet rich plasma is then injected back into the treatment area, stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Pain: 3/5, with numbing cream. A cooling sheet mask is applied post treatment to minimise redness. For PRP, nitrous oxide (often referred to as happy gas) is also available.
Results: Results will be noticeable immediately afterwards with some potential redness lasting for one to two days. Full results appear between three and four weeks as your skin renews and collagen production improves. PRP clients may experience some bruising in the following days, so best to plan for any events.

10. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

What: non-invasive light waves cause damage to pigment cells, which then shed with the skin’s natural cell turnover to improve the colour and texture of your skin.
Great for: IPL is a go-to for those seeking a better, brighter, younger looking complexion! It targets sun damage and lessens the appearance of freckles, acne scaring, broken capillaries and rosacea.

What happens: The IPL device is glided over your skin, emitting light into the skin and heating your superficial blood vessels and/or pigmentation. Protective eyewear must be worn to shield from the intense light.
Pain: 2/5. You may experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation with each pulse of light is delivered, however no numbing agent is required.
Results: best results will be noticeable one to three weeks post treatment. Immediately after your treatment, you may experience redness similar to mild sunburn which should subside within a few hours. In the following days, you may have darker pigmentation and a speckled appearance which will disappear with natural skin turnover in seven to ten days.
