SUN DAMAGE

With our sunny climate and outdoor lifestyle, sun exposure can affect the skin over time, leading to changes in tone, pigmentation and early signs of ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles.

 COMMON CONCERNS

  • UVA/UVB damage
  • Environmental damage
  • Premature ageing
  • Pigmentation and sunspots
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Dehydration

 CAUSES
From our mid-twenties, the skin begins to naturally lose key components that support its structure and elasticity, including collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. Lifestyle factors, including sun exposure earlier in life, can accelerate these changes, resulting in visible signs of ageing and pigmentation. Daily use of a broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen is recommended to help protect the skin.
