Dr Paul Ferguson

Dr Paul brings more than 20 years of experience in the detection, prevention and treatment of skin cancer to clients at Artisan on the Gold Coast.

A graduate of the University of Queensland, Dr Paul worked for eight years in hospital surgical settings before undertaking additional training in skin cancer medicine within general practice. Since then, he has practised exclusively in skin cancer medicine, many of those years locally on the Gold Coast.

He has obtained numerous additional qualifications, including Advanced Certificates and Professional Diplomas in Skin Cancer Medicine, Skin Cancer Surgery, Dermoscopy and an Advanced Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine. This enables him to provide comprehensive care across a broad range of skin concerns.

Dr Paul focuses on early detection, accurate diagnosis and evidence-based treatment. He uses non-invasive treatment options where appropriate and also holds advanced surgical skills for managing more complex cases. He places strong emphasis on patient education and clear communication about diagnosis and treatment pathways.

Private Billing Fees

Dr Ferguson offers privately billed consultations priced at $180. Medicare rebates from $41.40 are available for eligible patients. Additional fees apply for certain procedures, including a theatre fee.
