Ultraformer III

Ultraformer III is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment that uses Micro and Macro Focused Ultrasound (MMFU) technology to target deeper layers of the skin. The treatment can help support collagen production and improve the appearance of sagging skin and superficial wrinkles. Ultraformer III can be used on the face and body, including areas such as the neck, décolletage, eyes, and lips.

HOW IT WORKS

Ultraformer III targets multiple deeper layers of the skin – including the layer that surgeons manipulate during a face lift, using MMFU technology. It may assist in stimulating collagen and improving skin firmness over time.

The Ultraformer III also has a 2.0mm macro focused ‘wrinkle cartridge’, which may help address superficial wrinkles around the eyes and lips.

Ultraformer III is used on various areas of the face and body.

RESULTS

Improvements may be visible immediately after treatment. Further changes in facial contours and fine lines may occur over several weeks, with ongoing skin firming potentially observed in the months following treatment.

TREATMENT PREPARATION

Advise your clinician if you: 

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding 
  • Under the age of 18 
  • Are on anticoagulant therapy 
  • Have herpes virus infections 
  • Have an auto-immune disease 
  • Have a hemorrhagic disorder or another hemostatic dysfunction 
WHAT TO EXPECT

Prior to your first treatment, your clinician will consult with you to assess your suitability for Ultraformer III and discuss any concerns or questions you may have.  

During the treatment, an ultrasound transmission gel will be applied to the treatment area. There is no need for analgesia and the treatment is extremely tolerable.   

WHO IS NOT SUITABLE

Anyone who: 

  • Is pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Is under the age of 18
  • Has a hemorrhagic disorder or dysfunction
  • Has metal stents/implants in the face or neck 
  • Has bio-absorbable mechanical implants
  • Has skin cancer or suspicious lesions in the treatment area
  • Has active skin infection in the treatment area including acne, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, and active herpes simplex

EXPECTED OUTCOMES
  • Redness, swelling and tingling which usually resolves within a few hours 
POST-TREATMENT CARE

There is no special care needed after this treatment and most clients can return to their regular activities immediately.  

Sunscreen, Vitamin B3, vitamin C, AHA/BHA and vitamin A are recommended, as well as the use of a cosmeceutical strength eye cream to enhance the results.
